Hands -
Opposite Carrefour, and next to Lagoon Resort.
This is a craft place where the children can bake bread, make Plaster
of Paris models, mosaic pictures, to name but a few. It costs 15 LE
per child and that includes 3 activities. There is a lovely garden and
café to sit in while your children are busy. I highly recommend this
place.
Magic Planet -
In Carrefour. Wide range of activities including bumper cars, climbing
wall, Jungle Gym, and train.
Aqua City -
A water slide park on the Cairo Desert Road. About 30 minutes from
the villa. Telephone 0193098227. Opens from 9.30 - 7pm, but it is
best to arrive as early as possible as it gets busy in the afternoon.
During Ramadan it opens at 11.30am. Price includes food. Approx
70le for adults and 45le for children.
Safari Park -
Also on the Cairo Desert Road. About 40 minutes from the villa.
Karamantas
Green Plaza, lots of Bouncy Castles etc. Also there, is a bowling alley
and Laser Tag.
Cinema.
The cinema is reasonably cheap. 15-20 LE. Ring 4209154 to find
out what’s on in Green Plaza and 3970156 to find out what‘s on at
Carrefour. There are other cinema’s but these are the main ones.
Fantasy Land -
A small amusement park at the end of the Carrefour Rd.
Dream Park -
A larger amusement park just after the Cairo toll gate. (about two
hours away).
The Planetarium -
Situated just in front of the Bibliotheca - various programmes go on
through out the day. See Leaflets.
