El-Alamein. Visit the War Museum on the site of the famous battle, and the
impressive but contrasting Allied, Italian and German cemeteries.
Desert Trips - either for 1 day or 3
days. These trips are better organised
2 to 3 weeks before you come as a visa
into the desert is required. (Don’t worry,
this will be sorted out for you!) The trip
includes travelling in a four wheel drive
across the desert, stopping off to see a
petrified forest, oasis, and playing on
the dunes, sand boarding, body
boarding, and going on a sand buggy.
Lunch is provided. The 3 day trip goes
from Siwa.
Wadi Natrun. Situated half way
between Alexandria and Cairo, the
three Coptic monasteries here, make
for a very interesting day out.
