Montaza Palace and Gardens. Montaza Gardens boasts of two
palaces - the Haramlik Palace which is now one of the residences of the
Egyptian President (and not open to the public), and the Salamlek
Palace which is now a hotel. It is lovely walking through the vast gardens
and enjoying the many beaches in this area. There is also a beach at
the Palestine Hotel which you can use if you have a meal there.
